2021 Theme: “What’s Inside Gets Out at Yachats”
Once again, Michael Guerriero coordinated the Yachats Banner Project with the sponsorship of Polly Plumb Productions. Yachats area artists have been decorating the Highway 101 street light poles with banners annually for four consecutive years. The canvas banners are about 23 x 42” with a rounded bottom. Individual designs are applied with acrylic paints by 32 volunteer artists. The theme “What’s Inside Gets Out at Yachats”, is offered as a stimulus for design. “Yachats” is printed on the back of the banner. Volunteering artists are limited to those who live within about 15 miles of Yachats.
