Expansion of Yachats Community Skatepark

Polly Plumb is partnering with the City of Yachats to raise funds for the expansion of our small community skatepark.

The expansion will increase the size of the skatepark from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet and will add new elements of varying difficulty to appeal to skaters of all abilities. The cost for the improvements is $110,000. The new design and project implementation will be completed by Dreamland Skateparks of Lincoln City, Oregon. To date, more than $70,000 has been raised for the effort.

Dreamland has been a “dream” partner including their donation of $15,000 to the project as part of the sale of a special Dreamland beer created by Rogue Brewery. Thank you Dreamland and Rogue!

The capital work will take place in December 2023.
