Artist Statement:
“When the fish are jumping,
They feel like whales,
And then quickly go down deep,
In schools or one by one,
Up the river you may see them,
Perhaps at the crashing waves near the point,
But they are never far and always near,
Neath the wild rhododendrons,
The ferns,
the changing skies,
What’s inside,
Gets out in Yachats.”
