HISTORY:
The Yachats Arts Guild has been meeting since 2007 when the group formed in response to a communal desire to see local artists come together to showcase the beauty and the varied talents of the local artists along the Oregon Coast. The Guild began with a few artists and continues to grow with both active artists and supportive members. It is the goal of the Yachats Arts Guild to promote and support the arts, to provide artists up and down the coast with an opportunity to show and sell their artistic endeavor and to enrich the lives of the artists and those who purchase their art.
PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Yachats Arts Guild is:
- to promote and support the arts
- to provide local artists an opportunity to show and sell their work
- to expand artistic ability through special seminars and periodic workshops
- to enrich the lives of people in our community through the arts
SHOWS:
Yachats Arts Guild has two shows each year; on the Fourth of July holiday and the Labor Day Weekend. They are held in the Commons Building in Yachats, Oregon.
