Thirty-six local artists painted banners for the 3rd annual banner project.
Enjoy a walk on the city sidewalks – on Hwy 101 in Yachats, OR – and enjoy the beautiful banners hanging overhead and flower gardens along the sidewalks.
Banners are displayed from June through September. On the first Saturday of October, they are auctioned off to support arts programs and fund the project for the following year. This year’s auction will be held on October 5th from 5:00 until 6:30 PM in the Commons Building in Yachats. Attend the banner auction on October 5th and view the banners up close. You may find yourself bidding for one of these beauties.
Note: Flowers along the sidewalks is a volunteer project and spearheaded by Shelly Shrock. Each garden was created by a local volunteer. Enjoy!
