Workshop: Intro to Printmaking with Sue Valentine

(The material fee is for papers, ink, and a wood and linoleum plate.) 

In this workshop, you will explore 2 printmaking techniques that can be combined together:

I.  Relief Printing – We will create a lino cut print, as well as a woodblock carving which will be separate images. The subjects will be of your own choice. You will bring a drawing or photograph to work from. You will create a small numbered edition of prints from these plates.

II. Mono types – We will paint the surface of linoleum or gel plates to create unique, one-of-a-kind prints or to print backgrounds for your relief plates.
