Our monthly meeting is open to all those interested, beginning with 15 minutes of artistic inspiration. The monthly meeting is the last Wednesday of each month at 11am. Location: 40 NE Forest Hill St, Yachats.

PURPOSE:

The primary purpose of the Yachats Arts Guild is

to promote and support the arts
to provide local artists an opportunity to show and sell their work
to expand artistic ability through special seminars and periodic workshops
to enrich the lives of people in our community through the arts

OUR HISTORY:

The Yachats Arts Guild (YAG) has been meeting since 2007 when the group formed in response to a communal desire to see local artists come together to showcase the beauty and the varied talents of the local artists along the Oregon Coast. The Guild began with a few artists and continues to grow with both active artists and supportive members. It is the goal of the Yachats Arts Guild to promote and support the arts, to provide artists up and down the coast with an opportunity to show and sell their artistic endeavor and to enrich the lives of the artists and those who purchase their art.

SHOWS:

The Yachats Arts Guild has three shows each year, including a Memorial Day weekend show, a July show around the July 4 holiday, and a Labor Day weekend show.

Art offered typically includes framed items, watercolors, oil, acrylic, mosaics, stained glass, and photography. Cards, prints, and ceramics are also available.
